As part of this year’s festival program, we will be hosting two masterclasses: The first about editing and the second about script writing. Read more about each masterclass in the sections below.

All masterclasses will be in Danish.

Masterclass - The Art of Editing Shorts

7.10.20. / 17:00 / Cinemateket

In this masterclass we shed a light on the role of the editor and their influence on the production of short films. What makes the short format so interesting, and which kind of stories are especially gifted to be told in shorter form? Come and join Dansk Filmklipperselskab / The Society of Danish Film Editors in this masterclass where they open the door to the editing room and invite you to participate in an open dialogue with multiple editors, and their take on the Art of Editing Shorts.

This masterclass will be in Danish.

Masterclass - Scriptwriting (SOLD OUT)

8.10.20. / 17:00 / Cinemateket

In this masterclass we turn our attention to pre-production when scriptwriter Rasmus Heisterberg visits the festival to share some of his experiences working on scripts like ‘I Blodet’ and ‘A Royal Affair’ as well as his work as a script consultant on a wide range of films. Rasmus will explain the process of writing a script with plenty of examples from his many projects. He will also supply tips and tools on how to develop your idea into a fully formed story with complex characters.

This masterclass will be in Danish.
