The Copenhagen Short Film Festival is looking for brave new volunteers for our pre-selection group, our communications group and event group.
Do you want to help plan the festival program, create awesome events and communicate them to our audience, then you are just the person we are looking for.

The work is unpaid, however we organize social events for the volunteers, and offer the opportunity to be part of a great community of film lovers and nice people. The working language is English.
Pre-selection group:
We are looking for new volunteers for our pre-selection film group. If you like short films, have some extra time on your hands, and would like to join a community of film lovers and nice people, we have just the (volunteer)job for you!
About you:
- You love film and are curious and open when it comes to form, themes and the use of the film medium.
- You are willing to spend 2-3 hours a week watching short films from the open call. Films will be assigned to you through the online platform FilmFreeway.
Communication group:
We are looking for new volunteers to be part of our communication team. If you like SoMe and short films, have some extra time on your hands, and would like to join a community of film lovers and nice people, we have just the (volunteer)job for you!
About you:
- You are interested in producing content for SoMe (primarily Facebook and Instagram)
- You love films and want to help spread the word about the festival and its activities
- You are willing to spend on average a couple of hours a week doing communication for the festival and making SoMe content.
- You want to become part of an awesome communications team and even bigger festival team.
- The preparation for this year’s festival has already begun so we are looking for volunteers who can start as soon as possible.
Event group:
We are looking for new volunteers to be part of our event group. If you like planning events and love short films, have some extra time on your hands, and would like to join a community of film lovers and nice people, we have just the (volunteer)job for you!
About you:
- You love planning and running events
- You’re imaginative and creative and like to come up with event concepts
- You are willing to spend on average a couple of hours a week planning events and help run them during the festival
- You like to be part of a team and work on creating great experiences for the audience
- The preparation for this year’s festival has already begun so we are looking for volunteers who can start as soon as possible.
About Copenhagen Short Film Festival
The Copenhagen Short Film Festival was founded in 2012, and held its first edition in 2013 in Husets Biograf. Since then the festival has developed and grown bigger each year – this years’ edition, scheduled for October, will mark the festivals’ 10 year anniversary. We present a wide variety of films, whether you love horror, animation, documentaries, drama, comedy, or avantgarde, we’ve got something for you. We wish to introduce a wider audience to the short film medium, promote short film as its own medium and help aspiring filmmakers develop their art.
