The masterclass is organised in collaboration with Lithuanian Shorts and the Lithuanian Cultural Attache in Sweden, Finland and Denmark, supported by the Lithuanian Film Centre.
Laurynas Bareiša
Born in 1988. Studied applied mathematics and cinematography. Also works as an editor. PILGRIMAI (2021) is his first feature film, won best picture in Venice Orizzonti.
Vytautas Katkus
He graduated Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Cinematography studies in 2014. Works as cinematographer in fiction and documentaries. In 2019 he debuted as a film director with his first short film COMMUNITY GARDENS at the 58th Semaine de la Critique Cannes Film Festival, while his second short film PLACES (2020) premiered in Venice, Orrizonti. Third short film CHERRIES (2022) was part the official selection of Cannes Court Metrage.
