Open call 2023
Our open call for short film submissions will open on Friday 27. January 2023.
We are once again looking for amazing short films from all around the World to be screened at the 2023 edition of Copenhagen Short Film Festival. We are looking for short films that are animated, live action, fictional, non-fictional, surprising, engaging, entertaining, different, funny, frightening, endearing, give us food for thought and everything in-between.

Deadlines:
- February 17: Early bird deadline (no submission fee)
- March 10: Regular deadline (5€ submission fee)
- March 31: Late deadline (10€ submission fee)

Rules & terms
You can submit all genres of short films to CSFF (documentary, animation, live action, children’s films and so forth).
We do not accept promotional or commercial films.
The film can not have a running time over 30 min. (credits included).
The submitted film should have english subtitles (if not in english), if selected the screening version has to have english subs.
CSFF only accepts online submissions through FilmFreeway
The submitted film should be finalized in 2021, 2022 or 2023.
