In HELPLINES we are invited to feel pain, pressure and discomfort as our main characters experience their lives being laid out in the open against their will, and forced to confront themselves with their emotions and limitations. Rage, embarrassment, abandonment and lack of control fill the room as addiction, social media inferno and grief force us to question how we would react to hardship, and worst case scenario. These short films remind us to take care of each other as a small thing can quickly spin out of control.
