Join the Copenhagen Short Film Festival team
Do you want to become part of the CSFF team?
If you like short films, have some extra time on your hands, and would like to join a community of film lovers and nice people, we have just the (volunteer) job for you!
We are looking for people to join us in festival planning and production, pre-screening film submission, and communication support (social media, design, PR & marketing).

FESTIVAL PRODUCTION
About you:
You love short films and want to be a part of a core group of volunteers who plan and execute the festival.
You are willing to spend on average a couple of hours a week leading up to the festival on projects, tasks, or committees related to the planning and production of the festival.
You like to be part of a team and work on creating great experiences for the audience.
COMMUNICATIONS
About you:
You are interested in producing content for SoMe (primarily Facebook and Instagram).
You love films and want to help spread the word about the festival and its activities.
You are willing to spend on average a couple of hours a week doing communication for the festival and making SoMe content.
You want to become part of an awesome communications team and even bigger festival team.
PRE-SCREEN FILMS
About you:
You love film and are curious and open when it comes to form, themes and the use of the film medium.
You are willing to spend 5-10 hours watching short films from the open call. Films will be assigned to you through the online platform FilmFreeway. The pre-selection period will be between March and May 2026.
You can attend a workshop in Copenhagen where we will walk through the different criteria to look for in the films.
The work is unpaid, however we organize social events for the volunteers, and offer the opportunity to be part of a great community of film lovers and nice people. The working language is English.
The preparation for this year’s festival has already begun so we are looking for volunteers who can start as soon as possible.
