Esther is a young girl who works day and night to balance her studies with taking care of her dad, but as his disease progresses, her efforts to keep him home become more and more pointless. Being on the brink of collapse, she is forced to make a choice. HOME is a short film about the rising challenges of Alzheimer’s disease when young children take on the role of parents. It’s a story about accepting change and letting go of responsibility.
